This is Clay just prior to outpatient surgery that will hopefully repair tendon, artery and/or nerve, whatever is damaged in the middle finger of his left hand.
I'm drinking coffee in the waiting room.

UPDATE:
12:30pm, heading home, he is doing well, therapy appointment Thursday morning. The surgeon repaired a tendon or two and removed a lot of scar tissue that had formed. The nerve was crushed but not severed. Not sure what that means for regaining feeling in that finger but we will see.
Hope Clay has a complete and speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteThat looks awful. Wishing Clay a speedy recovery. We can compare scars some time.
ReplyDeleteGood news that it was crushed instead of severed. That means there's a chance the nerve connection can heal. As long as the insulation isn't broken new fibers can grow. Here's hoping that's the case for Clay. Sending positive thoughts your way.
