Nice girl. Good girl. How often can you say both of those things, particularly about a shepherd? But I think Roxey is all of that and potentially a whole lot more.
I've only had her a few hours, but she moved in, settled in a crate, met all the dogs, all without a problem. She doesn't seem freaked out by the move and all the changes in her life, many of which are yet to come.
She hasn't had any training to speak of, but she has lived indoors, has used a crate, and seems well-socialized. She lived with a cat, but I'm not prepared to declare her cat-safe or cat-friendly. Her experience with one cat may not translate to another.
She may be a counter-surfer, but if that's the biggest problem she presents, she's a breeze. She's spayed, per the owner, but the records don't reflect it. A vet should be able to confirm it, however, at least by checking with the prior vet. She's current on vaccines but they are due this month. (I'm saying all this here just to pass along the info to her new foster home, where she will be going on Saturday.)
