Penelope and former foster Felix had a play date Tuesday morning. It was 10:00 a.m., but it was already hot; I guess we should have done it at dawn for maximum playfulness. The dogs enjoyed themselves anyway. Jess had been invited too, but he had a very important vet appointment this morning. He will get a chance to meet and play with Felix after he's healed up from the neuter surgery that happened today.
Penelope is good with both people and dogs. She enjoyed exploring the new space, which is more wooded than ours, and more like her new home will be. Felix isn't as tall as Penelope of course, but he's slender and has pretty long legs himself. He's fast and can give her a good run.
