He's got a dark star on his forehead. |
We'll keep Cash, but he doesn't need to stay here. I think he's very adoptable. He could have anywhere from six months to two years or more left in him. There's no guarantee except this one, however long you have with Cash will be quality time for both of you.
Cash came from deplorable conditions, but at one time he was clearly a well-loved, if not well-cared for companion. He's never marked or defecated in the house. He will use a crate but he doesn't really need one. He doesn't do stairs aside from the two or three steps it takes to get into the house. He's mostly or totally deaf, so he's a sound sleeper. He's got a big bark because he can't hear himself but mostly he just uses it when he wants to go outside. The yard around our house is an acre or more, fenced, and we can turn him out there to do his business. He doesn't go far and comes back in soon. Cash has met and gotten along fine with the full range of canine personalities that we have around here. That says a lot about the dog.
If you are interested in giving Cash a place to hang his hat and rest his old bones, let me know. He's vetted and is scheduled for some dental work and a neuter. I'll cover his adoption fee if there is one.
He doesn't move real fast, but he gets where he's going. |
Cash has become more animated and outgoing recently. |
