Daisy, just a peek

I drove out to Staunton early this evening and met a transport bringing 40-some dogs from Texas. Daisy is a rottweiler, obviously, but she's my first foster for Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue.

The sun was down by the time we got home so there wasn't any time for introductions. I took her over to Daneland, Clay came out to meet her, she ate, and we hung out for a while. I fixed her a nice bed in the shed, closed the door and left her out there for the night. Tomorrow will be a big, big day.

She's said to be about 10 months old and very sweet. I can vouch for the sweet part.
