Three little pups and one very big one

Luna's three little shepherd pups, the Trio of Tiny Troopers, are doing very well. I fed them three times today and they are now consuming pretty much all of the gruel mixture that I put out. The mixture is one third cup puppy chow, pulverized, one third cup replacement milk powder, one third cup cottage cheese, and about one and half cups hot water, mixed together in the blender and then poured into a big food dish. Luna comes in afterwards and cleans up the bowl, and cleans up the pups. I've introduced a cardboard box and crinkly plastic water bottle in addition to the stuffed toys. You can see the development in their skills and coordination from day to day. They all get snuggle time several times a day too, because everyone wants their adult German Shepherd Dog to be a lap dog, right?

Luna is feeding one, cleaning the second,
while the third one chews on her ear.
Puppies around the feeding bowl.

The new box hideout is a hit.
Snuggle time is the most important thing I do.

Our newest foster is a big pup, much bigger than the trio of Tiny Troopers combined. It's Kismet, a Green Dogs Dane pup from a year ago, returned this morning. She was not our foster originally and she wasn't part of the 12 pack although she overlapped their time in rescue. She participated in the Puppy Bowl with Killian last year. She's back and looking for better adopters than she had the first time around. Kismet can see but can not hear. She's a year old, house trained, crate trained, good with other dogs, probably no small dogs or cats.

Della can be a bit of a bitch meeting dogs in public, but when
I bring them home she has been surprisingly good. She
grumbles at them, but she knows that if I've brought them
home, they need to be here.

Kismet meeting Serena, Maya, Simon, and Arby all at once.
