I took Kismet to meet the son of an applicant this afternoon. The applicant is out of state, but the son is in-state and came to meet the dog on her behalf. Kismet barked at them at first, which is pretty Dane-like, but approached them and let them approach and touch her. Once they made contact she was their friend and was soon laying on her back seeking belly rubs.
After they left, Kismet got the chance to be reunited with Killian. Those two had traveled to NYC together to appear in the last Puppy Bowl. I think he took her by surprise but she recognized him instantly and they had a little play time, as much as they could with her on a short leash anyway.
Once we got back home it was dinner time and then play time with Journey. He may appear to be big and solid, and he is, but she knocks him down a lot. Her height gives her a big advantage when they engage in Dane-play.
