Elvis on the town

I had a couple of things to celebrate today. First, my niece in Montana gave birth to a baby boy, both mother and son are doing fine. Second, a project I've been working on with my job finally went to market today. We put Elvis in the van and went to town for beers and dinner.

We picked up food from our favorite food truck, Tacos Gomez, and headed to Decipher Brewing only to realize that they were closed today for a staff event. Undeterred, we headed over to Rockfish, ate our dinner and had a beer. For a second stop we went to Champion, one of the first breweries in Charlottesville, for what may be our final beer from there as they seem to have fallen on hard times. 

Reaching our two beer limit, we headed home. Elvis didn't get to socialize as much as he would have liked, but he got an outing that he can brag about to the other dogs.
