Dodger's first night was great. He ate dinner, no hunger strike. He seems to love his crate, and he was quiet all night. Bailey was crated next to him and it was her crying that woke me this morning. She was awake and wanted to play. I put Bailey and Dodger out in the a/c yard before it was fully light this morning and they were soon playing. Dodger ate his breakfast in the a/c yard and after some time out there he was happy to come back in and go back into his crate. We haven't done much bonding yet, but he's learning the routines around here and that's enough for right now.
Maze arrived about 7:30 this morning. Her home is having a new central air system installed and apparently her help wasn't needed for the day. She was happy to see Della and they started the day with a nice round of Dane play.
I brought everyone out a few times throughout the day. Bailey wasn't sure what to make of her but they played a little too. I brought Dodger out to the dog yard for a while after putting a martingale collar and a long line on him. He doesn't entirely trust me yet but he enjoyed the yard time.
