Mitch continues to impress me with his people skills and even skills with children. A lot of people came up to him today and wanted to pet him. He welcomed them all. He was good with small children once again too, he licked him but didn't jump up on them. He seems to have a face that makes strangers want to love on him. He rode beautifully in the van, even without a crate. He's extremely food motivated and will sit if he even thinks you've got a treat or something to give him. I even got him to down for me without much effort. He could learn anything that someone wanted to teach him and he'd enjoy doing it.
The cat test this evening pretty much just confirmed that he's a terrier. Cat or rat, if it runs, he will chase it, but he really didn't show any interest in the cat until it ran.
Joy went to her new home late this afternoon, so we are back to nine dogs total. I need to start bringing Happy inside and taking her on walks to make her adoptable. Jericho has an interested applicant, and it sounds promising on paper at least. We should know more in a few days.
