The old house at Pleasant Grove is getting some much needed restoration work, including a new copper roof, an addition on the rear, and an outbuilding. It's all being done with grant money. |
Maya on a solo walk. |
The Fluvanna Community Garden got a new tall fence and gravel walkways this spring. |
Maya and Ochie on a dual walk. |
They didn't always agree on which way to go. |
This is a new bridge on the trail that was dislocated by flood waters in that hard rain we had last week. |
Sparky and I found the relocated bridge. It's intact, but will need to be put back in place and anchored. |
Some native shrub in the forest |
Bluets in bloom along the trail. |
Toquima is with us again this week. He and Charlie had to get reacquainted, but it went fine, no problems. |
Toquima actually kept Maya entertained so she stuck around this morning. |
Maya and Trooper on top of the Playstation. |
Trooper on duty Big birds and trucks are not welcome. (He barks at thunder, too) |
The softer side of Trooper, that visitors never get to see. He's very sweet. That's Maya laying at the foot of the bed, Gigi is on my right, out of the picture, but she's there. |
