We took Theo along today. He hadn't been out on a walk in a long time and he was the last one around here really needing a good brushing. We walked, we brushed, we took pretty shepherd pictures. Both dogs spotted a couple rabbits and near the end, a young doe. The deer froze and you can see why they do that as a defense mechanism, the dogs really only seemed to spot the deer when it moved. She ran a bit further away and froze again. We moved to where I had a better shot at a picture but the dogs really didn't try to go after her because she didn't move.

Theo's turn
I wasn't going to walk today, but Maya was aware that the daylight hours were slipping away and she hadn't yet been out for her walk. Clay came home and the two of them pretty much insisted that I go.
