Harvey was adopted today. He's one of very few dogs that I thought really should, as opposed to "could," go to a home with children. Harvey had grown up with children in his former home and I think he missed them. His new home has two, a boy and a girl, at great ages to enjoy a dog like Harvey.
We will miss him, of course. You don't have a dog as big and as personable as Harvey and not miss him when he's not around. But now it's Beau's time to shine, and then Clyde, and then . . . Harvey occupied a big spot.
