Jackson's adopters came at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon. We met at Green Dogs in Troy, VA. That was the precise time that a thunderstorm hit that precise spot. We didn't do a lot of chitchat. They knew they wanted the dog, and who wouldn't? He was a very well-behaved, young, Great Dane. The only thing wrong he ever did in our house was to scratch on the bedroom door at 4:30 in the morning, not because he wanted out, but because he wanted into the bedroom.
We exchanged pleasantries, briefly, and then exchanged the dog and the paperwork, but still managed to get pretty wet in a short period of time. I didn't get many pictures, but Jackson has a new home and that's all that matters. The storm didn't last too long, nor did it cover a lot of territory. When I got back home it was still bone dry here, although we did catch another passing storm later in the afternoon.
