The Little Lady

Lady went to her new home today, reducing our population of little dogs to 1 and the total number of dogs to 11. 

Her adopters drove down from northern Virginia. Lady took to them both immediately, relishing the attention and, I think, demonstrating that she was fully prepared to repay their devotion with her own. 

The adopters are nice people and she's a nice dog. She left with them without hesitation, perhaps sensing that this was just a short term layover on her life's journey. We wish her well.
