Catching up

I need to catch up posting some pictures before they become too dated.

The first group of pictures is from that rainy day we had last week. Kinley & Kash are both a little wet and they are playing indoors due to the rain. Actually they seem to prefer playing indoors even on nice days but Della objects to it (loudly) and I generally throw them out. 

Even Twix had to come over to figure out what was going on here.

I've shared pictures of Della and Elvis sharing the bed in Della's crate. Here are pictures from last Thursday of Della and Elvis playing together. He even seemed to be making an effort at Dane-style play. Neither of them may realize it, but Della holds the keys to the kingdom. If she decides he's a worthy companion, Elvis will definitely be staying. The play is a hopeful sign.

The next group of pictures are of Della and Elvis again, from Saturday afternoon this time. I had them out in the pasture in lieu of a walk. They were happy as it turned out because they scared up a deer and chased it off the property. Deer hunting is another activity that they share. Elvis can't match her speed or stride, but he's got a good nose and he's very determined.

And here's some pictures from today. Della and Elvis again, on a four mile hike late this afternoon.

4.1 miles, and we finished just before dark.

Elvis was out front the entire way today and he set a pretty good pace.

I'll close this post with this picture of Kash. He got neutered today, and big step forward to finding his new home.
