It wasn't exactly a pretty day, but I hadn't walked since the weekend and was needing to get out. I took Della and Killian together. They make a good looking pair of dogs. We encountered only two people on the trail, a very surprised pair of bikers who came around a corner and saw the two harlequin Danes heading their way. They stopped, we stopped, I got the dogs off the trail and let them pass.
I haven't worn sweat pants, a t-shirt, and a sweatshirt on a hike to quite a while, but it was windy and chilly out there this evening. Still, it felt good we all needed it. The dogs walked nicely together. Killian will be four years old in June, so Della must be about six or so.
