Norman's test, and puppies

After some early morning pasture time, I loaded up Norman and we headed over to Green Dogs to meet cats and a small dog. He has a interested applicant and they are actually passing through here on Wednesday and wanted to stop to meet him. Norman really didn't show any interest in the cats and even less in the small dog that he met. I had him on the Gentle Leader which is necessary for control, but he made no attempt to go after or even interact with the cats or dog. Good boy, Norman. We'll see what the potential adopters think about him tomorrow.

The puppies had visitors, which they enjoyed, and they spent the entire day outdoors because the weather was so nice. They've been having rather soft stools, which make a mess indoors at night. Clay and I gave them a second dose of a de-wormer today and I added some probiotic powder to their food. I also cut back on the amount of food I gave them today. I think they may have been getting too much food, which could also cause the soft stools. Marvel got a dose of the de-wormer today as well. I don't think I had ever treated her when I first did the pups.

We weighed the puppies again too. They ranged from about 9 pounds (Storm and Rogue) to a whopping 12 pounds (Thor). Elektra and Wakanda were in the middle, at 10 pounds. They are growing.
