Endless entertainment

I think most everyone who reads this will agree with me that puppies are better than Netflix, Prime, and all the other streaming services combined when it comes to endless entertainment. Plus, there are no passwords and no channel flipping. You don't even need a remote control.

Today was the first outdoor experience for Marvel's marvelous pups and they had a great time. It was immediately apparent that Storm is the most adventurous of the litter. She came down the steps on her own and was soon off exploring the outdoor space. They had two excursions today, the second one involved food and my plan is to feed them outside whenever possible from now on, in the hope that they will poop outside as well, cutting down on indoor cleanup. We will see.

From the left is Thor, Elektra, Wakanda, and Rogue.
The tail at the bottom left is Storm because she was already down the steps and heading off.

Rogue

Thor and Wakanda

Wakanda, after making it down the steps successfully.

The objects in the yard are not organized at all. They don't need to be at this point. Everything is new and needs to be explored before they figure out how to use any of it.

The second outing was at dinner time. I put the food dish outside in front of the door, figured it would lure everyone out quickly. Thor was the last to come down the steps. He stood at the top complaining about missing dinner while the others ate. (I gave him some more when he finally came down, I'm not a monster.)

Storm and Rogue went out first. Still inside, left to right, are Elektra, Wakanda, and Thor.

The cardboard tunnel had gotten a fair amount of poop on it, so it's now an outside toy.

This turned out to be the unexpected fun toy today. It was sitting out there full of leaves and about an inch of rain water. The puppies got inside it, which surprised me, and were wading around. I dumped it out and leaned it up against the fence but they soon knocked it down again. It landed on a couple of those sawed off fence post pieces so it moved around haphazardly when they moved around in it. They thought it was great fun. It reminded me of a tilt-a-whirl ride from an amusement park. I know I should clean it up, but they didn't care a bit. See videos below.

That's Storm who climbed a ramp to the top of the tunnel.

And finally, here's two short videos of puppies playing in the empty wading pool.
