On Sunday I drove Rugger and Mercedes to meet a prospective adopter who wanted to meet them. It looks like it was Rugger's lucky day and we are planning to meet again and finalize his adoption next Sunday. He will have another shepherd as a brother and his adopter spent 10 years doing shepherd rescue herself. She works from home several days a week so it sounds like a good gig for Rugger.
