Last weekend I took Della up to visit Clay at Patch Brewing Co. It was a quiet time without a lot of people and no other dogs. There was a bigger crowd when I went with Maya on Friday evening, and several other dogs, but Maya is cool with other dogs and she loved the attention from people. Della would have loved the attention too, and I'm sure I'll take her another time, but she can be a bit much as far as other dogs are concerned, feeling the need to alert every dog with in a half mile radius of her presence.
There was a nice crowd at Patch Friday evening and Maya enjoyed herself. She was happy and surprised when we met Clay there, and he provided treats, as did a few other people. She met two or three of the other dogs that were there too. There were even several dogs using the dog park area, which was nice to see.
