We did all that and then got to see the new brewing equipment that had just arrived. Maya has a part time gig as an ABC inspector so we needed to have a look. As I understand it, the electronic portion of the set up that will make it all work hasn't arrived yet; these are just the tanks for a 7 barrel brew system, but it is a big step towards brewing their own beer on premises. The indoor tasting room is making progress too. I think they are looking at an early spring opening. The outdoor pavilion will still be available as well.

Maya at Patch Brewing
Clay has been closing at Patch by himself for the last couple of nights. Maya and I have been going up in the evenings to help with the closing since he's on crutches due to a torn ligament (tendon?) in his foot. That just consists of putting out the fires, emptying the trash and taking it to the dumpster, changing the "open" sign to "closed," and taking down the flag out front. Until closing time I have a beer and Maya hustles treats and greets the patrons. There was another friendly dog there yesterday and we caught the end of trivia night. Maya also helped train a new employee.

Maya sure has control of all the things. Love her so much.
Maya looks so much like the late lamented Knibble. Their temperaments are similar too.
