It was too cold and wet and I was too sore for hiking today. I did some cooking for the week ahead and in the afternoon we took Twix up to Patch. There were a few new beers I hadn't yet tried and it was an opportunity to socialize Twix.
He's initially scared and has his tail tucked in any new situation, but he warms up really fast to people. If anyone shows the least bit of interest and kindness he is more than willing to meet them more than halfway. He's a hugger.
There were quite a few people there and several other dogs. He had no problem with any of them, was interested in everything, but not insistent on making contact with everyone he saw. It was a good first outing, but he needs a lot of confidence building so we need to do more.
