The puppies' final hurrah

Well, it always happens eventually. All the puppies are off to their new homes. I went out to the shed this afternoon, cleaned up the final mess (see below), picked up all the toys and other laundry, and finally turned off the window unit air conditioners that have been keeping them comfortable. 

Fare thee well, little puppies. Go forth and conquer, for the world is small and you are giants. Every step you take will make the ground shake as it rises to meet you.

The puppies had a party the night before they left. They found a roll of paper towels and made confetti. I suppose that was appropriate for a send off event.
