Floofy tails, and others, on a spring day

"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold; when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade." – Charles Dickens, Great Expectations. Today was one of those days.

Ford and Biscuit have two the floofiest tails we've had around here in quite a while. These two seem destined for only a short stay in foster care so I took them, and others, out to the pasture to run later this afternoon. It was a beautiful warm day, in the sun, but when you stepped out of the sun into the shade, you wanted a jacket.

Biscuit

Maya's tail (right) is semi-floofy and very expressive.

Paisley has no floof.

Nor does Elvis. This is about the only picture I got of him today.
He disappeared in the grass hunting.

Della and her shadow also have no floof to give.

Biscuit's floofy butt, hightailing it down the trail.

Maya and Ford

Biscuit is a beautiful golden color.

Ford

Bailey

Bailey, in post-pounce position (she didn't catch anything).

Ford is the floofiest.

No floof, but Della is stunning.
