Jake the Wonder Pug

I'm in Kansas visiting my mother and her dog, Jake the Wonder Pug. Jake had a trip to the groomer, who cleaned him up, removed a lot of hair, and took this picture of him dressed up for Saint Patrick's Day. Not all dogs can wear a hat, but pugs can.

Jake was also due for a vet visit so we knocked that off today. He's enthusiastic about going anywhere and he really didn't care that it was a trip to the vet. A quick exam and a couple of shots and we were out of there.

When we got home I took him for a walk around the block since he was already wearing his harness. 

Jake's harness is tethered to the headrest
in the back seat and it keeps him in place.
