Bessie is about 2-3 years old, a spayed female rottie mix. Sometimes I think she's more mix than rottie, but other times she looks very much like a rottweiler, but much smaller. Think of her as a miniature rottweiler if there was such a thing.
She's cute, sweet, friendly. She really likes people and craves attention, very rottweilery qualities. She can be a bit jealous too and she will practice resource guarding around other dogs (for food, and human attention). She walks well on a leash and really enjoys hiking.
Bessie lived on a chain and at least part time indoors before coming here. Her house manners are excellent. She told me she didn't need to be crated and proved it by escaping from a crate one night. She wants to be with her pack, her people. She will jump up on the bed if given the chance but she stays on her bed on the floor throughout the night without problem.
I was told she was fine with cats but haven't done a cat meeting with her yet. She will make a fine companion and will be by your side as much as possible. Bessie is available for adoption through Green Dogs Unleashed. See that webpage for adoption information, or email me at vadogrescue@gmail.com for any questions about Bessie.
