An eight month old shepherd (Sam), plus a ten month old lab (Jeb), combined with another shepherd (Theo) and two Danes (Della and Serena) and eight acres of pasture equals a whole lot of play and exercise.
Sam is definitely becoming more playful with other dogs. She has engaged both Maya and Serena in play indoors. She has tried with Arby but he has zero interest and even less tolerance for her. She has even made overtures to Della, but Della plays with Serena, she sees no reason to play with a mere shepherd puppy.
I haven't written much about Jeb yet. He's 10 months old and he's a chocolate lab. He probably weighs a good 80 pounds already and he pulls like he's 180. He was given up when after he pulled a prior owner to the ground resulting in a fractured hip (the owner, not the dog). He's a lot of dog and has no apparent training. He's sweet and he crates well at night indoors.
The dogs shown here who are available for adoption through Green Dogs Unleashed are the eight month old female shepherd (Sam), and the ten month old male chocolate lab (Jeb). Theo, Della and Serena are permanent residents here.

Everything about Jeb is typical of labs.
Jeb and Theo heading into the tall grass. We let it grow at the end of the season
and it's almost too pretty to cut right now, but I've cut pathways through it and will
cut it down eventually over the fall and winter.
Jeb. There's no doubt that he's a lab, that's for sure.

Theo and Jeb chasing Sam
I'm not sure if Sam was knocked down or fell. Looks like Theo had decked her.
Jeb and Della on the right.
Jeb was smart to suck up to Della.
Sam and Serena
Sam was the youngest out there today and she's very light on her feet. She enjoyed having
the other dogs chase her, Theo and Jeb primarily. She would occasionally get knocked down
and she'd cry like a puppy, but would bounce back to her feet when the bigger dogs backed off.
Sam has adoption interested from several people, any of whom would make great adopters.
Della is the queen of the pasture around here.
Sam being pursued by Theo and Jeb
I was surprised to see Theo engage and chase with the pups out there today.
Serena, Theo, Sam, and Jeb
Sam looks like a fox emerging from cover and being chased by the dogs.
Della's attitude towards Jeb was: "Get back to me when you grow into a Dane."
