Doc is only 22 months old, but in many ways he seems like he's even younger. His approach to other dogs is very submissive puppy-like. He likes to have someone with him, another dog, any other dog. He's always had a companion apparently and he doesn't like to be alone. We've had zero house training issues with him, and no problem with him peeing in the crate as he was reported to do.
His hunger strike ended the day of his surgery and now he cleans up his bowl like a big dog. He's all right being out in Daneland, with a companion, and he's also been fine being indoors with our dogs during the day. He finds someplace to lay and sometimes a chew toy to entertain himself. He's pretty easy going, which fits the bloodhound stereotype very well.
He hasn't yet developed a loud, deep baying howl, which is fine with me. That's something his eventual adopter can have to look forward to.
Here he is playing with Maya. She's got a chew toy, which are plentiful around the house, but of course he would like to have the one that she's got. He's respectful though, and he gets it in the end because she's more interested in what I'm doing.

Who says jowls are unattractive? What a handsome boy Doc is!
Love all the pics and the video of Doc with Maya was too cute!! Tile floors are a must! I used to have fancy rugs- with four pups- no more! LOL
