Still no power but the generator is running three space heaters and the house is livable and actually very comfortable by the standards of the first five days.
Declan had a meet and greet today with an approved adopter. They brought their Irish Wolfhound who is also a cream color like Declan but even bigger. Declan was his usual friendly, playful self. Their wolfhound wasn’t thrilled with his puppy playfulness but I’m sure it could work out. Their other dog liked him well enough.
We will see what they decide. Tricia and William stopped by to meet him later in the afternoon and still later we had some time out in the snow covered pasture.
Declan has been very good for River, who is now very friendly even with strangers.
