Our dogs: Maya, Max, Della
Uncertain status: Paisley, Elvis
Large fosters: Kinley, Reyna
Smaller fosters (indoors): Reese, Twizzler
Smaller fosters (outdoors): Twix (Pixie went to another foster today)
Honored guest: Killian
Turtle got adopted last week;
KitKat went to another foster home on Sunday;
Pixie went to another foster home today;
Reese has a meet and greet with a potential adopter on Friday;
I think there's an application for Twix, but he will take Reese's indoor spot if she gets placed tomorrow;
Reyna has an application that we are looking at hopefully; and
Killian's family should be back to reclaim him on Sunday.
So after a long dry spell and lots of dogs in the house, we are finally looking at moving some dogs out of here. I would like to get enough adopted out that I could get away for a few days.
Turtle
Pixie on her way to a new foster home today.
KitKat, on his back with his head obscured by toys,
enjoying life in his new foster home.
I have figured out that I can always get Paisley to come back inside with a non-empty food dish.
That has solved a lot of problems managing her.
Reyna has an application that looks pretty good, but with no shepherd experience.
That could still work, she's not a difficult shepherd in spite of being a female.
I may be doing a home visit with her soon.
Elvis has made himself comfortable, but he could do that anywhere.
I'm not sure if Della views Elvis as a friend, a pet, or a mascot,
but she's very tolerant of him and I've even seen her try to play with him.

I’m really surprised that you still have Elvis. He’s seems like such a sweet, great dog! Do you think it’s that he’s deaf?
The biggest reason we still have Elvis is that he hasn't been put up for adoption.
