Sisters

As soon as Della arrived here she picked out Serena to be her BFF. I'm not sure Serena had much say in the matter, but she didn't object either. Except for the time that Della was with her puppies, she has been with Serena as much as possible. Serena is the only dog that Della really plays with. Serena will play with others from time to time, but it's generally the two of them against the world.

They are very different dogs, but their differences are compatible. That probably makes for a better relationship than two very similar personalities. I expect the same is true for human relationships as well.

We did a three mile hike this evening. It was a beautiful evening and hardly anyone was at the park. That suits us well.

I think the crate sharing takes togetherness a
little too far, but no one asked me.
