Last of the litter

The last puppy of Marvel's marvelous litter was adopted today. Elektra was sweet and even a bit shy meeting her new family. She showed off her "sit" and went up to each of the people for love and affection. She's got a boy who is probably the perfect age to match her energy. 

It's a great home (three time prior adopters) and I've very happy for her and we need to reduce the numbers around here, but it's a bit bittersweet. She's not just the last puppy of this litter, but of any litter that we will be fostering. There will be a lot of "lasts" coming up in the next several months that I'll try not to dwell on because there are even more "firsts" coming our way in the near future as well.
