Woody, etc.

Young male German Shepherd Dogs can be a real pain in the ass. They are often barky, noisy, needy, crazy, a lot of undesirable things, but I think they make the best puppy sitters in all of Dogdom. We had Bear with the puppies until he got adopted and he was wonderful, and now Woody has stepped in to fill the role of the fun uncle who tolerates, watches over, and plays with the pups.

Bailey tolerates them very well, but she doesn't willingly engage with them like Woody does.

Paisley's interaction with the puppies leaves a lot to be desired.
Paisley's interaction with all other dogs leaves a lot to be desired.

On a hike with Bailey Friday afternoon.

SweetTart got spayed on Friday.

She's doing fine but is on crate rest for a few days.

My current breakfast creation - ham, egg, and cheese muffins baked in a floral mold that Clay brought back from Belgium.

Friday evening bonfire at the neighbors' place.
One of the joys of living in the country is disposing of yard waste by burning.

It's even nicer when the neighbors have two of my former fosters.
That's MoDean on the left (one of Della's 12-pack) and Rorschach on the right.

Both Danes sitting on mom's lap watching the bonfire.
