When he didn't even try to eat Catdog I knew there was nothing wrong with this dog's temperament. |
I've had him just a few hours, but he has met about half the pack and is currently hanging out with Coco. Tomorrow I plan to hook him up with Clyde and let them work off their energy on each other. He starts being crated tonight. He gets neutered on Monday. Those two things will go a long ways towards solving the house training issue. The harness he's wearing would be great for a sled dog, or for a dog who has already learned to walk without pulling. We'll use different equipment and teach him how to walk. This isn't rocket science, it just takes a little common sense and some effort.
I introduced one at a time but pretty quickly. Here's Serena, Maya, and Coco checking him out. |
TJ isn't the most welcoming to new, intact, male dogs, but he was all right and I'll keep them apart as much as possible until Cooper is neutered. |

Finn is smiling somewhere up above xo
OMG. Too much with Cooper. I bet you will have to choose from many to take this one.
