A couple updates

This is Bauer.  He was called Anthony originally, and he was one of the hoarder shepherds from back in March, 2011.  Wow, has it been that long? 

He was one of the older ones then and I wasn't at all sure when I first met him that he would even be adoptable.  He was adopted and has a kid of his own to play with as well as couple of parents.  He's been a wonderful dog for them and they have given him a great life, which he certainly deserved after living with the white trash bitch Jennifer Brooks for so many years.

Bauer has DM, degenerative myelopathy, which affects so many senior shepherds.  But he's not a young dog and he's done very well to have made it this far.  I have to believe that the care, the love, and the joy of the last years of his life has helped keep him going.

The picture on the right is Rocky with his new mom.  She graduated from medical school and they have moved to Montana to start their new lives together. 

I was very fond of Rocky.  He was a sweet, lovable, compact Rottweiler.  What's not to love?
