His name is Boomer

Boomer lost his home today, but he will be ok. His former owner lost his business, home, and his dog. Boomer is 6 years old and he's still crazy about a ball. If there's a ball around, he's completely focused on it and doesn't care about much else. He's a great catch and will toss the ball back to you to throw again.

Boomer needs some routine vaccinations and needs to be neutered. He has a lot of hair loss on his belly, reportedly due to allergies, and he's very thin, so I suspect he has food allergies as well. I picked up a bag of Taste of the Wild yesterday that he can share with Thor.

He was fine with the other dogs outside but really insisted on coming inside when it got dark last night. He spent the night in the office with Trooper and Daphne with no problems and I'm planning on the three of them hanging out in the dog yard for a while today.

I need to try to get Daphne to the vet. She has sort of a hacking cough.

And I have to call the Louisa shelter about a shepherd who is there.

The two shar peis come tomorrow and Colby comes back from her temp foster on Sunday. Then that is it. The gate is closed for a while. No more room at the inn.
