Obi on the radio

Obi and I left home early Wednesday morning to make an appointment in town at a radio station, 99.7 CYK, to do a "pet of the week" spot featuring Obi.
Obi's first elevator ride.

I have no knowledge of current radio, other than satellite and the rightwing stuff that I avoid like the plague. But it sounded interesting and worth a shot, so off we went.

There was heavy traffic on I-64 that morning so I was afraid we were late, but we made it and we were out of there and on our way to other errands in less than half an hour.

We recorded a very quick 15-20 second spot in the studio and then when outside to shoot a video (see below).

Obi was good. Everything is new to him but he takes it all in. He doesn't get nervous or scared, certainly not fear aggressive. He loves meeting new people and he's willing to try or do anything new that we throw at him.

I didn't hear it on the radio, but they posted the video on Facebook Friday morning.

He handled it like a seasoned pro.
We were both happy to be back outside.
