Marvel and pups

The puppies had visitors today in the form of friends from work. They brought their own dogs as well and had some pasture time with Elvis, who showed off by catching and killing a field mouse and then found and rolled in something nasty. The puppies were very happy to have visitors. Later they got their first dose of another de-wormer, Panacure (first of three to be given over three days).

Marvel got spayed today, meaning that she's now ready for adoption. She's a bit subdued this evening, as would be expected, but she was happy to be home and settled into her crate to sleep it off.

Clay took Marvel to Charlottesville Veterinary Hospital this morning and picked her up after work as well. The vet who did the surgery called me in the afternoon and said that it all went well.

She was happy to be back in her home crate this evening.

The puppies all took their de-worming medicine very well, although it was a bit awkward to hold them and squirt the liquid into their mouths at the same time. I should have waited until Clay was home for this. I ended up wearing a bit of Panacure but I think I got enough into all of them.
