Nine week puppies

They were born nine weeks ago today (Thursday), in the morning, one at the shelter and the other five in the back of a Ford Bronco driven by a volunteer who brought them here. We marked the nine week milestone with another round of vaccines (get them before Trump and the brain-damaged RFK Jr. ban them) and a second day of Panacure.

Last night was the first time that they managed to get all of their overnight poop and pee on the pads, which made clean up so much easier this morning. It was a chilly day so the puppies spent more of it indoors. I put the space heater in a crate in the puppy shed to keep them from chewing on the cord. I think that Thor will be going to his new home sometime tomorrow so this is probably their last night all together.

The vaccines happened early this morning at Green Dogs.

I gave them their second dose of Panacure in the puppy shed in the evening.

Marvel seems to be recovering from her spay surgery nicely, and Bear doesn't seem to be limping any more. Both will get at least a couple more days of mostly crate rest.
