Loose ends

I placed Natalie in a home a couple weeks ago but just got back over there today to complete the adoption paperwork.

It's a great home and one that I've adopted to before.  Many years ago they adopted a basset mix from me named Big Bob.  He's now a very senior bassett mix named Guido.  They had another dog, a boxer, who died recently and they contacted Animal Connections again looking for another dog.

The woman gives piano lessons out of her home so a dog who was good with strange children coming and going was a must.  Natalie was the perfect fit.

She got along with Guido, she's fine with the kids, the grand kids, and everyone else.  She hasn't had an accident in the house or chewed up anything.  They did discover that she can and will pull food off the counters and out of the pantry.  They are working on training themselves to keep things put up out of reach.  The good thing is that they recognize that it's their own behavior that needs to modify as much as the dog's.
