Black cats

Dogs aren't for everyone.  Some people prefer cats and some people's life style just isn't suitable for a dog.  This explains the popularity of cats and I have nothing against them, even if they do complicate, frustrate, and often prevent dog adoptions into cat-resident homes.

Clay's mother had two cats, both lived to about 18 years of age.  The last one died a few months back and she decided it was time to get some more.

She wanted two cats, one black one, and we ended up with two small, sleek, jet black cats.  Both appear to be youngish adults.  We picked them up Sunday afternoon from the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA.  They have a two-for-one special on black cats because they are always harder to adopt.

These two seem to be getting along well together.  I'm sure their relationship will develop and grow.

My experience with moving cats to a new location is that they go and hide and then you may see them in 2-3 days.  These two are already exploring her house, one of them hops up onto her lap, and they are getting along well with each other.

They will have a great home with her and she needed them as much as they needed her.

What did Clay's mother name the new cats?

So happy for Clay's mom and these two felines, I know they will be a happy trio.
