Walking, playing, and working with Lenny

Lenny is coming along. I think his progress is evident in the pictures.

You can't overestimate the importance of play for
socialization and education of a pup.

Maya continues to play a key role, by playing with
him and correcting puppy behavior when he needs it.

He adores her and he brings out the playfulness in her.

Friends Tricia (shown here) and Kelly stopped by
the other day to meet him. He ran away at first but
I brought him back down on a leash and he laid down
for some petting. He didn't hate it.
That's Vince checking out the situation.

He even came up to big, scary Clay today and took treats
from his hand and would have continued until the bag was empty.

He relaxed more on our last hike, did some
sniffing, and generally acted more normal.
Here he is going over a pretty big log
that was obstructing the trail.

Walking next to Maya. The tail is higher and the ears perkier now.
He's still prone to spooking, but he's generally looking more relaxed.
