Puppy Reprise

We have had a brief and small scale reprise of the summer of puppies. Mo Dean (formerly Allagash) came to visit today and he's spending just a little over 24 hours with us.

He seemed happy to see me and certainly happy to see his mother, Della. He has grown of course, and looks really good. He's as sweet as ever, and he's looking and acting more Dane-like.

I have to imagine Della must be wondering what he's doing back here. She's still Mom, but she was treating him more like a real dog now, playing with him and not quite as over-protective as she used to be. We also introduced Mo Dean to Serena, Tank, and even Maya.

And to show me how much he's grown, he climbed the A-frame, something none of them could do when they left here. He scrambled up one side and down the other with no problem at all. Longer, stronger legs, with more coordination is all they needed.

I took Maya shopping at Lowe's Tuesday evening. She is
so well behaved out in public.

I took Maya out to meet Mo Dean when we got home.
She's a little old to put up with puppiness. Mostly she wanted
to check out the shed and the new Dane yard.

Love the reunion photos. IMHO, "Allagash" is a much better name than "Mo Dean".

If your opinion is so humble, why share it?
