Puck, lucky at last

Today is the vernal equinox, marking the transition from winter to spring and a time of transition for many things. It was the perfect day for Puck to be adopted, making the transition from his former to future life.

Puck is a great little dog who is filled up to the brim with love and devotion, just waiting for a human worthy of it. He has a new family who are prior adopters, having taken on a dog who came from a similar bad situation about six years ago. His new mom works from home, and there's a three year old girl for Puck to herd, but I think that at least initially it's the father who will find he has a new shadow shaped like Puck. He walked off with them happily enough and by this time they are back home in Roanoke starting spring as a somewhat larger and slightly furrier family.

Happy spring, happy life, Puck. It was great having you here if only for a while.
