Bo the beautiful
Like all rottweilers, Bo is a magestic, magnificent creature. It pained me deeply to see this beautiful, loving animal cringe and shy away from the human contact that he was obviously craving. I can only hope that the low-life piece of shit who abused this dog will soon die a horrible and agonizing death, alone and unloved, before descending to that special place in hell reserved for those of his ilk. Bo and I would visit his grave to spit and piss on it. I would anyway, Bo has better things to do because as of today he has a new home.
His heartworm treatment was completed without complications and he was neutered this past week. The new home is a great one, a woman who has previously adopted a rottie from me. The history of abuse, and the shyness didn't dissuade her, in fact I think it made her want the dog even more. She understands and wants to help, an angel walking among us, who came to Bo when he was ready and needing her the most.
Bo was fine with her other dog and if he is as good with the cats, he will have a wonderful home and a great new life. He may never overcome his fear of men, but he will be safe, well cared for, and loved.

That first photograph of Bo in the field is incredible. Happy to hear that he has landed in a good home.
I agree that top photo is wonderful. What a beautiful dog. Good luck in your new home Bo.
Rotties seem to have a special gift for forgiving most of humanity for the actions of a pathetic few. It can take a while -- a year or more -- but I have seen them change from cringing or bullying to the most trustworthy lovebugs. Hugs and kisses to Bo (when he is ready to receive them).
