Della enjoying some quiet time, on the outside of the puppy pen.
The other dogs in the household are coming closer now and Della is ok with it. This is Serena halfway into the puppy room.
Della on one side of the fence, Chimay on the puppy side looking out.
Toys make good headrests.
A dozen puppies at rest.
"Wake up and play with me!"
Some sleeping, some playing. Sleep generally wins out.
Sometimes they pile up all together, sometimes in small groups.
The feeding frenzy. There's room for everyone to eat all at once.
Peroni on the left (pink collar) and Carlsberg on the right.
Maya and Chimay. I think these two have a lot in common. Chimay's adopter will need to be smart and fast to stay ahead of Chimay as she grows and learns.
Modelo, sleeping with his head hung over the side of the bed box, starting what will be a lifetime of sleeping in positions that appear uncomfortable to us.

I look at the pups at least once a day, and usually more. Puppies make me smile.
They will make excellent companions for 12 happy families someday.
Oh, I love these beauties!!!!
