Loving the longer days

This is the time of year that it's nice to be a dog at our house. It's a pretty nice time to be a human too for that matter. I am working until late afternoon, but that still leaves time for a good amount of outdoor time with the dogs, in the pasture, or puttering around the yard doing a few of the myriad projects that pop up and present themselves at this time of year.

Betty White, Kaya, and Thor make a pretty good play group.

I've been keeping them in the dog  yard with Max during the days.

They play together in the dog yard, but they really get active
when we go out to the pasture to run.

Della and Serena seem to play together mostly when they have an audience.

Max gets along with this group of fosters very well.
He needs new friends since Theo doesn't get out to run with him any more.

Because she can't hear the other dogs, Betty White isn't always aware when I've
opened the back gate from the dog yard to the pasture. I had to go back to the dog yard
to let her know that everyone else was already out running in the pasture.

Thor is beginning to look like a black bear.

Pretty sunsets the last few evenings.

The fosters don't get the same height that the Danes do when they play, but they
still go at it pretty hard. Betty White crashed into and rolled Kaya today when she was running.

If these dogs ever start a band, this would make a nice album cover.
