Any given Tuesday

I took the dogs out to the pasture for a run this evening. It was cooling off and you could really feel the temperature difference where the cool air settled in the lower part of the pasture. It was cool enough that the dogs could run without overheating, which may change in the next few days.

Clay had cut the upper pasture today and it was needing it. I hated mowing off the wildflowers, but it was getting to the point that if we were going to cut it, it needed to be cut now or it would soon be beyond our machines' cutting power. So part of it was freshly cut but there was still plenty of tall grass out there as well. I did flea and tick treatment on everyone yesterday evening and tomorrow morning it's time for heartworm preventative.
