Delgado goes to a new home

I haven't written much about Delgado since he first arrived, mostly because he wasn't our dog, we were just holding him for someone while she tried to get her life straightened out. Her 30 days were up on May 1st and Delgado was still here, making him our dog and available through Green Dogs. I would have hated to send him back where he came from.

Delgado had gotten the worst of a fight with his sister when they were boarded together. His legs were pretty torn up and he even had to have a toe amputated as a result. He was wearing a cone most of the time he was here. When he was getting better I had him out in Daneland one day and something happened, I don't know what, but he came away limping on his "good" foot, using only the three-toed one. A few days crate rest sorted that out and the last week or so he's been cone-free and sound on all four feet. And today he got adopted!

He's got a husky/shepherd mix sister in his new home and some people who were very excited to have him. His house manners around here were perfect, and he was really a pretty easy foster although the cone was inconvenient for all of us for a while. He's a nice boy and we wish him well.

This is Delgado's new sister, a mostly husky mix.
She's very pretty and extremely soft and silky.
